Joining the eXp Land & Ranch Division comes with a few important entry criteria to ensure our community maintains high standards of expertise and professionalism in the rural and acreage space.

To qualify, agents must meet one of the following:

✅ Option 1: Proven Experience

You must have closed a minimum of 3 transaction sides in the past 2 years involving properties that are 5 acres or larger.

This experience demonstrates you understand the complexities of land and rural transactions—including zoning, utilities, access, topography, and financing.

✅ Option 2: Land & Ranch Certification Course

Don’t have that experience yet? No problem.

You can still qualify by completing the eXp Land & Ranch Certification Course within 30 days of joining the division. This self-paced course gives you the foundational knowledge you need to confidently represent land clients.

✅ Option 3: Recognized Industry Designations

Agents with a current ALC designation (Accredited Land Consultant) from the Realtors Land Institute or the EPS designation (Equestrian Property Specialist) from the American Real Estate University are also eligible for immediate membership.
