The ICON Agent Award is our most prestigious honor, reserved for the top 1% of agents globally who achieve exceptional production levels and make significant cultural contributions to our community.

An ICON is an elite professional who has reached the highest levels of production within their "Capping Period." Beyond their sales success, ICONs are recognized for their business acumen and their commitment to "giving back" to the eXp community through mentorship, teaching, and leadership.
The Path to ICON Status
The Path to ICON Status
To qualify for the ICON Award, US agents (Different rules apply for US Commercial and Canadian agents https://exptoolkit.com/icon-agent-award) must meet specific production and cultural requirements during their 12-month Capping Period:
Production Requirement (Option 1): Achieve your annual commission cap ($16,000) and then complete additional transactions totaling $5,000 in capped transaction fees.
Production Requirement (Option 2): For luxury or high-GCI agents, you can qualify by generating at least $500,000 in Gross Commission Income (GCI) with a minimum of 10 closed transactions and paying an ICON Qualifying Fee.

Community is one of our critical core values. Successful agents giving back to our agent population feed into the proverbial “rising tides lift all ships” philosophy. Community paired with collaboration provide a growth opportunity for every eXp Realty agent. ICONs contribute to our agent population by actively serving in one or more of the following areas with a minimum expectation of one hour per month.
Upon meeting production goals, agents must demonstrate their commitment to the eXp culture by participating in activities such as:
Serving as a Mentor in the eXp Mentor Program.
Teaching with eXp University.
Chair or Co-Chair an eXp Committee
Contributing to ICONversations or panels.

Achieving ICON status isn't just a title—it comes with substantial financial rewards and exclusive networking opportunities. Qualified ICONs can earn up to $16,000 USD in eXp World Holdings common stock:
$8,000 (Production Award): Granted upon achieving production requirements (3-year vesting).
$4,000 (Cultural Award): Earned by satisfying your cultural commitment (1-year vesting).
$4,000 (Event Attendance): $2,000 is awarded for attending a Regional Rally and $2,000 for attending EXPCON (no vesting period).
